Here at Heatec EV we take accessibility very seriously! We have embedded our links with a special ~access key~ which allows the use to navigate the website without the use of a pointing device, located to the left is a list of all accesskeys and there corresponding sections. Due to some of the more advanced DHTML content of the website some of the sections such as product listing may not be accessible through the accesskey procedure, in such cases you can use the TAB key to cycle through all of the links and then use enter to follow the desired link. To make use of an accesskey all you need to do is hold down the ALT key on a QUERTY keyboard (Either Windows Based or Macintosh Based) and then hit the letter of the link that you wish to jump to, depending upon individual browser settings the link will either be highlighted (selected) or activated (followed), in the forma case the user will have to use their ENTER key to follow the link. You can check which link is currently selected by looking to the far bottom left of your web browser (in Internet Explorer and Firefox), this bar is called the STATUS BAR, if you cannot see this bar then go to VIEW then STATUS BAR (ensure a tick is placed beside the option). Browser Accessibility Options To view your browsers accessibility options simply identify which browser you are using and then follow the corresponding instructions below:
Color We have taken care to ensure that the site~s font and background colour combinations contrast significantly and are effective in ensuring information is still clear when viewed in different colour combinations. If you wish to override the site~s colours, you can do this by changing your browser settings to your own preference.
